What GeoLint does
GeoLint is a free GEO audit. It checks whether AI search tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity can reach one web page, read its text and find quotable answers. It needs no account and no email address.
It audits one page per run. Start with your homepage, then test the pages that matter most to your business.
Run your first audit
- 1
Open GeoLint
Go to the GeoLint page and find the address box at the top.
- 2
Paste a full page address
Use the whole address, for example https://yourdomain.com/. It must be a public page that opens without a login.
- 3
Start the audit
Press the audit button and wait about 20 seconds. GeoLint loads the page as plain HTML and in a real browser, and requests it as each AI search bot.
- 4
Read your report
You get a score out of 100, a confidence level and a ranked list of fixes.
How to read the report
The score is the sum of four checks, and each one has its own result in the report.
Bot access, 30 points
Reads robots.txt and requests the page as each AI search bot. It shows which bots are allowed, which are blocked by a Disallow rule and which get an error such as 403 or 429 from a firewall.
JavaScript, 25 points
Compares the raw HTML with the rendered page. It shows how much of your text is already in the HTML that many AI crawlers read.
Answer structure, 25 points
Checks whether each heading opens with a direct answer instead of a long introduction.
Facts and schema, 20 points
Counts specific facts, outside sources and JSON-LD structured data, and checks that each type has the fields it needs.
If a check cannot run, for example because the page blocks every request, GeoLint says so and leaves that check out instead of scoring it zero. The confidence level tells you how much of the score was measured.
The fix list is ranked by the points each fix can add, so start at the top.
Apply the fixes
You have three ways to apply what the report found.
Copy your Fix Pack
The report builds ready-to-publish files from your page: a robots.txt block, an llms.txt guide and JSON-LD. Copy or download the ones marked as needed and publish them on your site.
Use the WordPress plugin
If your site runs on WordPress, press Fix with WordPress in the report header. The guide shows each step with pictures, and the free plugin applies the robots.txt, llms.txt and schema fixes with one button.
Ask Nexora to do it
If you would rather not edit your site, the done-for-you GEO fix is $50 per website and ends with a before and after score.
Save or share the report
Use Download PDF report for a copy you can send to a developer or client, or Download JSON for the raw data. Use Audit another page to test a different address.
Run it again after a change
Audit the same page again after you publish a fix and compare the two scores. Cache plugins and CDNs can show the old file for a short time, so give it a minute.
Expect the score to rise, not always to reach 100. A plugin or a file can change bot access and markup, but how much of your text is in the HTML and how each section opens depend on your theme and your writing.
